BYEF received a Missouri Foundation for Health’s Community Activity Fund Sponsorship Grant in 2019. The award helped address a financial gap that was created when program fees from a service site did not meet budgeted expectations.

The Community Activity is a valued resource for the region and it is extremely disappointing that the fund will be discontinued at the end of 2020.

Some years program fees and community fundraising makeup 80-90 ninety percent of BYEF’s operating funds. Event sponsorship funding like that provided by the Community Activity Fund are critical to BYEF fulfilling its mission.
